MegaStores

The Hague

In January 2020, COD, together with development partner Amvest, acquired the MegaStores shopping center in The Hague. The property is more than 80,000 square meters of retail space, food & beverage, leisure and approx. 1,800 parking spaces. The current tenants are a mix of furniture & living, convenience stores and restaurants, such as De Mandemakers Groep, Blokker, Kruidvat, BCC, Leenbakker, Kwantum, Aldi, La Place and Jump XL.

COD and Amvest aim to redevelop the shopping center. District Laakkwartier is in transition. The redevelopment will focus on facilitating this transition with a good tenant mix, taking into account the regional and local role of MegaStores. Parties also aim to add residential units, both rental and owner-occupied. Adding residential units will give the mall an extra boost. The property is centrally located in the Laak district and the proximity to The Hague HS train station is ideal for both visitors and residents.

More information about the redevelopment of MegaStores will follow this year.
