The Newton

Amsterdam

COD is developing The Newton at the particularly attractive Kop Zuidas. Here, state-of-the-art urban living is combined with green and accessibility. The Newton refers to “light”. The triangular shape of the building has its origin in capturing as much sunlight as possible into the 101 apartments, which are positioned around the green roof terrace to enjoy nature in the middle of Amsterdam. The Newton was designed by Diederendirrix architects and has a total gross floor area of 12,000 m2.

The Newton has its own year-round green roof terrace full of plants and trees, carefully designed by Felixx Landscape Architects and Planners. The high 2.9 meter ceilings and slim framed, almost floor to ceiling windows guarantee a stunning view and provide beautiful daylight entering the apartments.

Kop Zuidas is a unique location within Amsterdam: cozy shops and restaurant around the corner in the Rivierenbuurt area, the nearby Amstel and Amstelpark within easy reach and excellent accessibility for bicycle, public transport and car. The 101 modern and energy-efficient apartments vary from approximately 46 to 110 m2. The triangular shape creates a unique and recognizable commercial space of 175 m2 on the ground floor at Hogelandplein. Surrounded by city and green, The Newton combines essential elements of modern living.
